MICRO-33 is now over. We had a great time in Monterey!
- MICRO-33 reached 378 total registrants (330 for the main conference) -- an all-time high for the MICRO conference!
- 49 student travel grants were awarded -- thanks to generous corporate donations.
- The Best Student Presentation Award was awarded to Jeffrey A. Butts for his presentation of the paper: "A Static Power Model for Architects" by Jeffrey A. Butts and Guri Sohi.
- The Best Paper Award was awarded for the paper: "Eager Writeback - A Technique for Improving Bandwidth Utilization" by Hsien-Hsin Lee, Gary Tyson, and Matthew Farrens.

The organizing committee of MICRO-33 is pleased to announce the MICRO-33 conference to be held in Monterey, California from Dec. 10 to Dec. 13, 2000. MICRO represents the premier technical forum on microarchitecture. This forum is well attended by both academic and industrial experts on the design of microprocessors.
MICRO-33 will be held in Monterey California. Beautiful Monterey offers the history of an old fishing town as well as spectacular views of the pacific ocean. The conference hotel, the Monterey Plaza Hotel, is a short walk from Fisherman's Wharf and the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
