Travel Grants

§ Students and junior faculty worldwide are eligible to apply.

§ Presenters of papers at MICRO-36 (symposium, workshops and tutorials) will be given priority in the selection process.

§ A grant is intended to partially cover travel and symposium expenses.

§ You must also register for MICRO-36. You can register for the symposium after you receive the notification about the grant.

§ Grant recipients are required to pay in full, at the appropriate level, the symposium fee and applicable fees for any elected workshop/tutorial.

§ Grant checks will be provided to recipients at the close of the main symposium thread.

§ To apply for a grant, contact Bill Mangione-Smith (billms@ee.ucla.edu) with the subject being “MICRO 36 Travel Grant Request".

Visa Information

IEEE policy is that invitation letters can be issued only to speakers, presenters, committee members, IEEE members or persons known by the organizing committee. In addition registration fees must be paid in full before the letter is provided. Letters will only be sent by US Postal Mail or fax and only to the individual registered for the conference. Hotel Information
